Ho Chi Min Update

 Hi Peeps,

just a picture update from the last little while. We had Reunification day (end of the War) April 30th plus May Day, so last week was a Holliday. 

I got some cool pictures, enjoy......

Public show downtown showcasing the end of the war and the re build of Vietnam.

This is downtown and a real cool apartment building with lots of small individual bars. The easiest bar hop I have ever done:)

Real traditional meal, Fried Tofu and some pork plus the pink fish sauce was super potent smelly sauce, even I had trouble with that.

I love the simple set up of a cart, big vat of soup (base) and fresh herbs and greens with rice noodles. 

Same here, Banh mi stand, so simple, so good.......

Ho Chi Minh City has a lot of small rivers of spring from larger rivers, so there is a lot of small ferries to cross the water. ( no water taxis, disapointing)

Little trip to Vung Tau, a seaside town south of Ho Chi Minh City, mostly locals here. The beach could be so much better if they would clean it up, very dirty, plastic everywhere, what a shame.......
